BALLINTEAN MOUNTAIN LODGE
Ballintean Mountain Lodge is perfect for peaceful and uplifting group holidays, retreats and workshops. Set in a private, elevated position amongst open woodland, Mountain Lodge has a rustic, contemporary feel with furnishings inspired by the natural landscape around us.
The Lodge comfortably accommodates twelve guests in a mix of single, double and twin bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. The light and airy two-tier lounge - ideal for group discussions - offers views across Glenfeshie, whilst the dining room, full of rural charm, allows everyone to get together and enjoy a relaxing dining experience.
Speaking of dining, we’ve accommodated wildlife watching, photography, walking, cycling, fitness, yoga and wellbeing groups and we’ve found that taking the worry out of preparing meals, allows the group to fully focus on their chosen activity. Our small catering team of Gilly, Sam and Dougal, provides home-cooked, locally-sourced, contemporary cuisine and can cater for a wide range of dietary requirements.
From the Lodge, a three-minute walk takes you to the rushing waters of the River Feshie with many other walks and trails starting right from the door.

WHAT OUR GUESTS THINK
The location and variety of terrain around Ballintean is great and the combination of excellent accommodation and high quality food is hard to beat!
OUR FOOD STORY
We are proud to work with a talented team of local cooks who prepare fresh, wholesome and homely meals. From tasty, nutritious stews using local venison to sticky toffee pudding in a caramel sauce; from rich and hearty homemade soups to a light and delicate raspberry sorbet. If you’re staying at our lodge, all meals are provided with the option of a carefully selected range of delicious wines.
In order to reduce food miles, our emphasis is on using produce we can source from within Scotland, ideally within 100 miles. This means we celebrate the seasons and use only what is fresh and available to us.
